Chlor Alkali

Hydrochloric acid is the aqueous solution of the gas hydrogen chloride (HCl).The solution is a strong acid, and as such takes a prominent place in the industry. Pure hydrochloric acid is a colorless solution with a pungent odor. Upon contamination by iron, chlorine or organics, it may have a weak to strong yellow color. Concentrated hydrochloric acid forms mists in moist air, due to the high partial vapor pressure of hydrogen chloride. On cooling down, solid hydrogen chloride crystals may form
